Our Beliefs — About Revelation
The Bible reveals the awesome purpose for human existence. It does so in a carefully presented message that has been recorded by various writers, representing multiple cultures, and written to a specific people. This message is unified and transcends time to speak and apply to us today in the 21st century.

God’s objective truths are always presented by humans who have subjective points of view. In other words, the Scriptures are 100% correct but as people begin to communicate those truths, couching the timeless words of God in their own terminology, error and misinterpretation may creep in.

We know that there are many voices crying out for attention, each one with their own specific doctrines and teachings, each one saying they are right. It seems as though confusion—not unity—reigns. Considering this, we have prepared various statements to express our foundational perspectives. It is important for you to know right where we stand when it comes to approaching the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

But please note—We believe that real, biblical faith is marked by one’s actions (James 2:17) more than by doctrinal statements. We’re not speaking of “works” here. Rather we’re talking about a life transformed by His grace and our faith, which results in actions that display this transformation to others. Bearing forth the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23), having a transformed mind and life (Romans 12:1-2), and the keeping of God’s Word (John 14:15, 1 John 2:3-6) are just a few of the characteristics that a transformed life exhibits.

We have attempted to capture the complexity of some of these theological and biblical ideas in down-to-earth language. We trust that these statements will not detract from the power and beauty of the original intent and revelation of the Scriptures.
